Biography

Mr Wilson Kumwenda is the Governance Lead for the Scottish-funded Governance Component under the Scottish Strategic Partnership Grant (SSPG) at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHeS). He provides strategic leadership in governance systems strengthening, institutional development, and policy implementation to enhance accountability and sustainable university management.

With over 20 years of experience as a Governance Advisor and Institutional Development Specialist, Mr Kumwenda has led and supported governance initiatives across Malawi and South Sudan under USAID-funded and other donor-supported programmes.

His work has included senior roles and technical advisory support for governance and public sector reform initiatives implemented by international organisations and development partners.
